Ora The Molecule are one of the world’s most interesting and exciting new alternative acts.
Nora (vocals / guitar) is originally from Oslo before moving to Los Angeles to meet her estranged Father and meeting the rest of the band Sju (drums / vocals), a Slovakian hat maker and Jan (synth / vocals) a German touring musician. After being inspired by each other’s work they started making music together, relocating to a small village in Spain’s Andalusian mountains in hope of finding the silence and peace necessary to make music.
Ora The Molecule takes inspiration from Fleetwood Mac, Kraftwerk, Suzanne Vega, Mecano and Norwegian Sami musician Mari Boine to create a musical buffet that excites the aural palette.
